Stagnation Pressure

 Stagnation pressure, abbreviated as \(p_s\), is the pressure a fluid exerts when the velocity of the fluid is zero.

Stagnation Pressure Formula

\(\large{ p_s =  \frac { 1 } { 2 } \; \rho\; v^2  + SP  }\)     

Where:

\(\large{ p_s }\) = stagnation pressure

\(\large{ \rho }\)   (Greek symbol rho) = fluid density

\(\large{ v }\) = fluid velocity

\(\large{ SP }\) = static pressure
