# Momentum Change in Velocity

This calculation determines the change in momentum when the velocity changes but the mass remains constant.

 $$\large{ p = m \left( v_i - v_f \right) }$$ Where: $$\large{ p }$$ = momentum $$\large{ m }$$ = mass $$\large{ v_f }$$ = final velocity $$\large{ v_i }$$ = initial velocity
