Capacitive reactance is the opposition to holding an electric charge.

Capacitive Reactance formula

\(\large{ X_c =  \frac { 1 }  { 2 \; \pi \; f \; C }    }\)

Where:

\(\large{ X_c }\) = capacitive reactance

\(\large{ \pi }\) = Pi

\(\large{ f }\) = frequency

\(\large{ C }\) = capacitance

Solve for:

\(\large{ f =  \frac { 1 }  { 2 \; \pi \; X_c \; C }    }\)

\(\large{ C =  \frac { 1 }  { 2 \; \pi \; X_c \; f }    }\)
