Angular Frequency

Written by Jerry Ratzlaff on . Posted in Electromagnetism

Angular frequency, abbreviated as \(\omega\) (Greek symbol omega), also known as radial frequency or circular frequency, measures the angular displacement per unit time.

Angular Frequency formula

\(\large{ \omega =  2 \; \pi \; f    }\)

Where:

\(\large{ \omega }\)  (Greek symbol omega) = angular frequency

\(\large{ f }\) = frequency

\(\large{ \pi }\) = Pi
