According to Avogadro's gas law, when temperature and pressure are held constant, the volume of a gas is proportional to the number of moles of gas present.

$$\large{ \frac {V_i} {n_i} = \frac { V_f } { n_f } }$$

Where:

$$\large{n_i }$$ = initial number of moles

$$\large{n_f }$$ = final number of moles

$$\large{V_f }$$ = final volume
