flow rate 1Flow rate, abbreviated as Q, measure the amount of fluid that flows in a given time past a specific point.

Flow Rate formula

\(\large{ Q =  A \; v  }\)

\(\large{ Q = \frac{ 3960 \; WHP }{ h_t }   }\)

Where:

\(\large{ Q }\) = flow rate

\(\large{ A }\) = area

\(\large{ h_t }\) = total head or height

\(\large{ v }\) = velocity

\(\large{ WHP }\) = water horsepower
