Dalton’s law states that the total pressure of a gas mixture is equal to the sum of the partial pressures of the individual gas components of the mixture.

Dalton's Law formula

$$\large{ P_{total} = P_1 + P_2 + P_3 +...P_n }$$

Where:

$$\large{ P_{total} }$$ = the total pressure of a gas mixture.

$$\large{ P_1 P_2 P_3 ...P_n }$$ = the partial pressures of the individual gas components of the mixture.
