$$\large{ \Delta V = a_v V_i \Delta T }$$     (volumetric or cubical expansion)

Where:

$$\large{ \Delta V }$$ = volume differential

$$\large{ V_i }$$ = initial volume of object

$$\large{ \Delta T }$$ = temperature differential

$$\large{ a_v }$$ = volumetric thermal expansion coefficient
