Volume differential, abbreviated as $$\Delta V$$, is the difference between an expanded or reduced volume of a liquid.

### Volume Differential Formula

$$\large{ \Delta V = V_f - V_i }$$

Where:

$$\large{ \Delta V }$$ = volume differential

$$\large{ V_i }$$ = initial volume

$$\large{ V_f }$$ = final volume
